I have been a corporate partner for 20 years in a variety of types of firms, including City, National and West End. I have also had stints in house and as a corporate financier. I have held a number of senior management roles, including finance partner and head of the London corporate practice of a major national firm.

I am happy to help people think through the type of institutional experience they are interested in, be it private practice, in-house or even non-law, and the pros and cons of where to practice, large or medium-sized law or large or smaller in-house environments.

As a partner of many years, I am an experienced mentor. I like to listen to people and help them to develop a clear, realistic and positive plan for their future. I believe it is important for people to enjoy what they do surrounded by people they are likely to get on well with, so I try to ensure any plan ticks those boxes, which are often surprisingly overlooked.
