Jeremy Tobias-Tarsh

I have been a lawyer (CC and Paul Hastings), legal entrepreneur (Totallylegal.com and Practical Law Company), charitable trustee (Chair Grief Encounter, Hackney Aquatics) and mental health champion (director of psychological services company Grespi Ltd). I have managed many lawyers and paralegals as well as individuals from many other disciplines, from IT to sales. I have mentored an equally wide range of people at all different stages of their careers. I am a founder of Claude, as it is so important to me to see people working across the legal sector receive as much support in their careers as possible, in the face of new opportunities but also increasingly challenging times.

My focus is on helping individuals at whatever level to deal with client or commerciality issues, problems managing seniors or juniors, to advising business or third sector entrepreneurs on strategic or tactical issues.

My philosophy is to help my mentees fully understand the outcome they desire, then help them identify their specific capacities to achieve that outcome, and together instil the confidence to succeed. My style is approachable, encouraging and grounded in a deep belief that people are capable of much more than they often give themselves credit for.
